I really loved the guitar so was happy for this to be sent to Gibson, surely if anyone can repair it Gibson can I thought. There was only 100 of the Dark Cherry VOS made so a replacement wasn’t possible. I contacted the store again who said the only thing they could do was either send it back to Gibson in the USA for repair or give me my money back. Again I called the store and again they took it back for repair and when it was returned to me it still had the same issue with the selector switch rattling. I got it back about 1 week later but still the same noise issue. But at the end of the day I still paid good money for it so I called the store I bought it from who arranged to collect it for repair. I thought about trying live with it as I could only really hear it when playing acoustically and I had got a good deal on it. there was a buzzing, or mild rattle coming from the guitar which I identified as coming from the pickup selector switch. I loved the sound of the MHS P90 pickups, probably the nicest pickup I’ve played to be honest with you.īut. It looked amazing, looked genuinely like an old guitar. It should have been £2999 and I got it for £1999 brand new. Click to expand.I bought one of the Cherry ones about 18 months ago and got a good deal on it here in the UK.
